Having his third run back from a spell in the Group III MRC Moonga Stakes and first for new trainer John Sadler, Sircconi powered clear to win the 1400 metre sprint by a length and three-quarters.
The victory took his overall record to three wins and six placings from 16 starts with prizemoney topping $400,000 and he should find plenty of opportunity to add to that record in coming weeks.

Nicconi
Bred by Access Bloodstock, Sircconi is the second winner from Kiwi bred mare On Credit, who comes from a stout New Zealand family as her grand-dam is Group III winning Noble Bijou (USA) mare The Dimple.
It's the family of Group I winner Irish Chance and The Jewel as well as recent Group I star La Bella Diosa.
On Credit has a yearling filly by Domesday and has foaled this spring producing a filly by Capitalist.
Sircconi is the fourth stakes-winner this season for Widden Stud's Nicconi, who stands at a fee of $24,750.
