See the Magic in Divine Prophet

Media Release - Monday May 28
With Day 1 of the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale getting underway on Tuesday one young sire that will no doubt be on every buyers' radar is Aquis' Group One Caulfield Guineas winner Divine Prophet.

Divine ProphetA son of the hugely successful and emerging sire of sires Choisir, Divine Prophet was a precocious 2YO winning his second start before running a close 3rdin the Group One Champagne Stakes won by Prized Icon, on just his third career start.

At 3 he was a first-up winner of the Group Three Up and Coming Stakes when beating Derryn, Thronum and Prized Icon, before going on to win the Group One Caulfield Guineas, beating home Seaburge, Hey Doc and Impending, who filled the minor placings.

It is little surprise that the first mares to go under the hammer in-foal to Divine Prophet proved hugely successful at the Inglis Chairmans' and Australian Broodmare Sale where they recorded a 100% clearance rate with a top price of $200,000 and an average price of over $90,000.

Divine Prophet served 170 mares in his first season at stud and is currently standing the Northern Hemisphere season at Tara Stud in Ireland.

All early indicators suggest that Divine Prophet is well positioned to make a big impact at stud and join the ranks of Champion Sires Vain, Lonhro and Redoute's Choice who, like Divine Prophet, are all past winners of the Group One Caulfield Guineas.

There are 23 mares selling at Magic Millions in-foal to Divine Prophet, with highlights including;
