Breeze Up Footage Now Available to View Online

The highly anticipated Breeze Up videos and Mounting Yard parade videos for NZB’s 2024 Ready to Run Sale are now available to view online at nzb.co.nz.

On Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 October, 345 talented juveniles galloped down the home straight of Te Rapa Racecourse, with all two-year-olds having the last 200 metres of their work individually timed. Day One of Breeze Ups recorded an average time of 10.69, while the average time on Day Two was 10.72

All the video is now available for viewing.

All videos and times are now viewable on NZB’s website alongside weather conditions of the day, the wind speed (meters per second) and wind direction for each lot. For more information on the wind anemometer recordings, view our guide here

NZB’s Breeze Up clips cover footage from near the 500-metre mark to capture horses before they fully extend into their gallop. The Mounting Yard is also filmed for each lot, with vision of all two-year-olds parading with their jockey on board prior to their Breeze Up.

Each video is recorded in high definition, the quality will automatically scale based on your internet connection and device.

The Breeze Ups will also be broadcast on live TV in New Zealand on Trackside 1 and in Australia on Racing.com.

This year’s Ready to Run Sale will see a quality line up of 404 catalogued two-year-olds go under the hammer on 20 and 21 November at the Karaka Sales Centre.

International buyers wishing to physically attend the 2024 Ready to Run Sale can enquire about accommodation options by emailing travel@nzb.co.nz.

NZB and New Zealand-based agents will also be available to complete inspections and provide evaluations at the upcoming Ready to Run Sale on-farm parades, due to commence Monday 4 November, with the parade schedule out soon.
