Two Justify's Highlight MM Horses In Training Sale

The two Justify entrants at the Magic Millions Gold Horses In Training Sale on Tuesday have produced excellent results, particularly for their pinhooking vendors.

Lot 76, a colt by Justify from Encosta De Lago mare Port Augusta, a half-sister to Champion French 2YO, and sire, Holy Roman Emperor.

Offered by Brisbane’s KO Racing, he sold to Yulong for $700,000, having originally been purchased by KO Bloodstock, Munce Racing and Arthur Hoyeau for $300,000 at the Gold Coast Yearling Sale in January.

Shortly after Lot 88, a filly out of Sacred Witness made $425,000 to the bid of Queensland’s Bartholomew & Co from the draft of Nolen Racing.

The filly is a half-sister to three-time stakes winner, and 13 time winner Religify while the dam is a sister in blood to Hong Kong Champion Silent Witness.

She had originally been purchased by Tal Nolen’s Moorillah Pastoral for just $60,000 from Newhaven Park at the Magic Million National Yearling Sale in June.
