Hardly
a day passes we don't see a winner sired by either All Too Hard or Pierro,
these two champion colts on the racetrack now making their mark in a highly positive
way at stud.
It was All Too Hard's turn on Wednesday with Over and Above (3g All Too Hard x
Olonana) breaking his maiden in the opening event at Sandown and Swaffham
Bullbeck (3g All Too Hard x Pink Siris) doing the same at Randwick.
Prepared by Team Hawkes, Swaffham Bulbeck was having his first run back from a
spell and scored over 1400 metres by half a length at his third start.
A $250,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Aquis Farm draft for Hawkes Racing,
he provided a timely update for his yearling half-sister by Wandjina that will
be offered at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale as Lot 583.
The filly is the fifth foal of stakes-placed Encosta de Lago mare Pink Siris,
who is best known as the dam of former slick sprinter Echo Gal, a Group III
placed winner of nearly $350,000.
Vinery Stud's All Too Hard moved to 33 winners for the season, just two in arrears
of his arch rival Pierro and has 17 entries for Inglis Classic.
