Sam Fairgray Leaves Woodside Park

Media Release - Wednesday January 17
Woodside Park Stud advised today that Sam Fairgray will be leaving Woodside Park Stud to take up a position at Yulong Park Stud.

Mark Rowsthorn, owner of Woodside Park Stud said, "I'd like to thank Sam for his efforts over the past 6 months and wish him well in his future endeavours.

"In his short time at the farm he has imparted a lot of knowledge to our people and his experience has been a real asset to our organisation", said Mark.

Sam Fairgray, General Manager Operations commented, "I am sad to be leaving Woodside Park Stud but the opportunity to join a global organisation like Yulong and manage its Australian breeding and racing operations was too good to pass up.

"I believe Woodside Park Stud is Victoria's number one stud operations and one of the leading operators in the country, it has turned a corner since Mark Rowsthorn took over the reigns and is a real force to be reckoned with in the industry. I look forward to seeing it flourish in the future."

Sam will transition out of the business over the coming months and Woodside will provide further information on a replacement in due course.
