One of Queensland’s iconic farms, Raheen Stud bred or sold runners have been in hot form in recent months and Basil, Di and Natalie Nolan and their team will be busy at Magic Millions with a big draft of 23 to present including five by the stud’s proven winner producing sire Heroic Valour.

Last year Raheen sold the highest priced yearling at Magic Millions from the first crop of Brutal for $260,000 to Cape Schanck Stud and Jenni’s Meadow was an impressive debut winner at Moonee Valley last Saturday for the Hayes brothers training team.

Half-sister by Heroic Valour to Jenni's Meadow.

The half-sister to Jenni’s Meadow is a lovely filly by Heroic Valour to be offered as Lot 1256 and while she might be in Book 2, she is also a half-sister to stakes-placed Flower in the Wind from well related Redoute’s Choice mare Meadow, so is sure to be well found by the good judges.

Jenni’s Meadow is one of a string of winners bred and or sold by Raheen this season that includes Group II VRC Danehill Stakes winner Stretan Angel, smart Hong Kong winner Gallant Valour and Listed BRC Just Now Stakes winner Chatty Lady, whose half-brother by Better Than Ready will be offered as Lot 1382.

Half-brother by Better than Ready to new SW Chatty Lady.

The Raheen draft features the progeny of 14 different stallions including two youngsters by champion sire Zoustar.

Lot 677

Lot 677 is a good looking colt by Zoustar from terrific producer Fleet Riane, who has had four foals to race and all are multiple winners. Third dam Dove Vai was a great asset for Raheen Stud spawning a dynasty of stakes-winners including Group I winners Ofcourseican, Gimmethegreenlight and $1.7million earning stayer Persan.

Lot 772

Lot 772 is a very appealing Zoustar filly and is the first foal of Group III placed Written Tycoon mare I Remember You from the family of Group winning fillies Pane in the Glass and Xilong as well as Group II winning sire Gold Brose. Zoustar has had four winners from five runners from Written Tycoon mares.
