A two time stakes-winner as a three year-old, Dundeel gelding Aintnodeeldun has hit a purple patch at age six and reeled off his third successive win when taking out the Group III MVRC JRA Cup (2040m) at Moonee Valley on Friday night.
Trained by Anthony and Sam Freedman, he was ridden a patient race by Billy Egan and swopped on the leaders late to snatch a narrow head win over gallant Red Sun Sensation.
Ain&

A $240,000 Inglis Premier purchase from Bhima Thoroughbreds for Anthony Freedman Racing / Blue Sky Bloodstock Pty Ltd, Ain’tnodeeldun was bred by Glentree Pastoral and is the best of two winners from stakes-winning Starcraft mare Ain’tnofallenstar, a half-sister to Group III winner Bachman and stakes-winner Stepitup from Group I placed stakes-winner Ain’t Seen Nothin.
Also in the family is Hong Kong trained Group I winner Stronger, standing his first season at stud with Aquis this spring.
Ain’tnofallenstar has a yearling filly by Ole Kirk, but no foal this spring after missing to the same sire last year.
Ain’tnodeeldun is the third stakes-winner this season for Dundeel, who has a key runner in the Cox Plate on Saturday in outstanding three year-old colt Militarize.
