Quaddie attack

Breednet - Friday October 27

There is nothing better than cheering home the final leg to land a fat quaddie and Racenet’s analysts have put their heads together to give you a chance at a big dividend on Saturday.

Here are our suggested quadrella strategies.

Moonee Valley

(Friday)

1st leg

1, 2, 3, 13

2nd leg

4, 5, 6, 10, 12

3rd leg

1, 2

4th leg

1, 2, 3, 11

160 Combinations

Analysis: Open fields and competitive racing tonight at Moonee Valley. Good field sizes and even races will make it worthwhile if we can lob the quaddie. Gone with at least 4 horses in each leg except for the Manikato with Vega Magic looking a standout but we must put the grey flash in as he will be flying home late.

$20 investment = 12.5%

Moonee Valley

(Saturday)

1st leg

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8

2nd leg

1, 2, 3, 4, 8

3rd leg

8

4th leg

1, 3, 5, 9

120 Combinations

Analysis: The opening leg we have gone wide with I’ll have a bit, Banish, Glam Guru, Mintha, Speedway & Touch of Mink. In the second leg we have It’s Somewhat which won the Doncaster Handicap in the autumn second-up along with Group I winner Lucky Hussler, the ever consistent Burning Front, Religify and Sound Proposition. Leg three is the Cox Plate where Winx is the standout and leg four looks an open contest. Cliff’s Edge and Aloisia are deserved favourites but we’re also throwing in Salsamor and Vin De Dance as both look like they are looking for the 2040m.

$20 investment = 16.66%

Randwick

1st leg

1, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10

2nd leg

1, 2, 3, 7, 11, 12

3rd leg

1, 3, 5, 6, 10, 13, 14

4th leg

8

252 Combinations

Analysis: This week’s Randwick quaddie looks as wide open as they come. The majority of the fields are very evenly matched and it’s going to come down to a touch of luck and the best rides. We will go wide in the first three legs and go one out in the final leg on what looks the good thing of the day – Interlocuter. Has been outstanding this preparation and scored the softest of victories last time out. Hopefully find some vale in the first three legs and Interlocuter can bring it home for us in the last.

$20 investment = 25%

Morphettville

1st leg

1, 7, 9, 11

2nd leg

5, 6, 8

3rd leg

1, 2, 5

4th leg

1, 7, 10, 14

144 combinations

Analysis: A good day of racing but it is the third leg which is the highlight. Labuan Star brings with it strong Victorian form while Chamois Road has been in fantastic form of late and Lord Aspen has only missed a place once this prep and looks ready to break through. Captain Duffy looks hard to beat in the first leg although we can’t go without insurance. Main chances in the remaining legs.

$20 investment = 13.88%

Doomben

1st leg

1, 7

2nd leg

9, 10, 12

3rd leg

2, 7, 13

4th leg

6, 8, 11

54 Combinations

Analysis: The first leg is where we narrow things down. Tycoon Ace returns off some strong form last preparation and has a great first-up record. The horse to beat. Taking insurance Hopfgarten. Privlaka is the other that looks hard to beat in the last leg but impossible to go one out. The main chances in the remainder.

$20 investment = 37%

Ascot

1st leg

1, 8, 9

2nd leg

6, 8, 9

3rd leg

2, 7, 10, 14

4th leg

5, 2, 7, 10, 11

180 Combinations

Analysis: We have narrowed the first two legs down to three. It’s impossible to split them but nothing much outside those. The last two legs are more difficult and it may pay to go wide.

$20 investment = 11.11%
