TACTICAL ADVANTAGE

$3.10

He's favourite but we think falsely. Resuming after spell of 20 weeks, in a new stable and has 60.5kg. Has placed once in two trials but he meets some in-form sprinters and while he's Obviously a chance not sure we want to be rushing in at this price.

Moonee Valley

DEMERARA

$2.20

Unbeaten filly trained by James Cummings so understandable she is favourite. This is her first time under race pressure around Moonee Valley and it's a step up to Listed class from her last start BM71 victory after wins at Kembla and Gosford. Happy to take her on at even money under the circumstances.

Doomben

BONSHO

$4

Looks a desperate day at Doomben. Bonsho in a race where there looks only two serious chances and she is one of them. The second favourite has drawn the inside while Bonsho has drawn out and that might just swing the difference. First start for nine weeks after striking herself in running when beaten last start at the Gold Coast.

Morphettville Parks

LABUAN STAR

$3

Taking on a Darren Weir-trained favourite is not usually a sensible move. There looks a bit of speed here and Labuan Star is normally a get back horse and the rail is out nine metres. His best form is good enough to win but he looks short enough in a race that he might find it hard to get into.

OCEAN JEWEL

$2.50

Won both her starts impressively this preparation however, this represents a rise in class. Has got back both her starts and from barrier nine likely to do so again so she will likely need luck and things to go her way. Looks a major chance but think she's worth the risk at the odds.
