Pride of Dubai – Nicks That Click

Tara Madgwick - Thursday September 7

Pride of Dubai is one of those sires that breeders are coming back to given results of the past 12 months and he had two new winners on Thursday that highlighted one of his very best nicks that runs at 84% winners to runners!

The Peter and Paul Snowden trained filly Missouk won at Hawkesbury at her second start, while in WA Buckets Ridge broke the ice at Northam ay his third start for Grant and Alana Williams.

Both of these lightly raced three year-olds are from mares by High Chaparral (IRE).

Pride of Dubai has some great stats with the Epsom Derby winning son of Sadler’s Wells sire that has worked so well in Australasia.

The nick has produced 11 winners from 13 starters taking in his Northern Hemisphere bred progeny and those winners include three stakes-winners – Group II winner Desert Lightning and Group III winners Splendiferous and She’s Fit, who was also second in the Group I SAJC Australasian Oaks.

Pride of Dubai, click for more info and to run a Hypo mating.

The nick runs at 84% winners to runners and 23% stakes-winners to runners, so if you happen to have a High Chaparral mare in the paddock with no fixed plan for her Pride of Dubai might be your man!
