$450,000 Pierro Filly from Samantha Miss

Newgate Farm’s Stud Manager James Carey is a renowned pinhook judge and he purchased several yearlings from the Magic Millions Strawberry Hills Stud Dispersal and the most expensive of them was the $450,000 Pierro yearling from Champion 3YO Filly Samantha Miss.

She is bred on the super successful Pierro x Redoute’s Choice cross so can be expected to add to the great record at stud for her triple Group I winning dam, who has left seven winners from seven foals to race.

Winner of the Group I VRC Oaks, ATC Flight Stakes and Champagne Stakes, Samantha Miss had a clean sweep in the 2008 Darley Princess Series winning all four legs of the prestigious fillies series and will be offered in this sale as Lot 52.

The best offspring to date from Samantha Miss is multiple Group winning Frankel mare Miss Fabulass, whose colt by I Am Invincible topped the yearling section of the Strawberry Hill stud Dispersal when selling for $950,000 to Kia Ora / TFI.
