Headline filly Jamaea will be joined by a series of high quality racing and breeding prospects – as well as a share in exciting young stallion Proisir – in the Inglis Digital July (Late) Online Sale, which is now open for bidding.
The July (Late) catalogue consists of 336 lots made up of 145 racehorses (80 race fillies), 125 broodmares, 34 racehorse shares, 17 yearlings, 14 weanlings and 1 unbroken stock.
The star attraction is the previously announced Jamaea, a dual G2 winner of over $1m in earnings who is the only filly to be offered at public auction off the track in Australia this year to have won a Group race at both two and three.
Jamaea will be joined by several Stakes mares including Brookspire, No Effort, In Her Honour and Clairvoyance to name just a few.
The Chris Waller-trained Brookspire (Hinchinbrook) is already a five-time winner of almost $1m and could add to that tally as early as tomorrow when she contests the Listed Winter Challenge at Rosehill.
A half sister to G1 winner and $1.1m broodmare Inspirational Girl, Brookspire is being offered as a racing and breeding prospect.
There are several other enticing breeding prospects in the catalogue including international G2 winner and G1 placed mare In Her Honour, to be offered in foal to one of the hottest sires in the world, Wootton Bassett.
In Her Honour (Exchange Rate) has a world-class pedigree, being a granddaughter of the legendary Danzig – who is the sire of the dams of 214 Stakes winners including G1 winners such as Maldivian, Fusaichi Pegasus, Tranquility Lake, Voodoo Dancer and Wonder Again – and is a half sister to G1 winner In Your Honour, while her dam Intense Look was a multiple G3 winner.
Offered on the eve of the Southern Hemisphere breeding season, No Effort (Reward For Effort) and Clairvoyance (Nostradamus) are both recently retired Stakes winners ready for their maiden cover.
Clairvoyance won seven of her 11 career starts – by a combined 19.6 lengths – while No Effort defeated G1 winners including Melbourne Cup winner Vow And Declare, ATC Derby victor Angel of Truth, VRC Oaks winner Miami Bound and The Metropolitan winner Mirage Dancer during a career that netted 11 victories.
Another unique offering in the sale is a share in Proisir, one of the most progressive young stallions in the Southern Hemisphere.
Standing at Rich Hill Stud in New Zealand, Proisir is the sire of five G1 winners in Australia and New Zealand this season, more than any other stallion.
He is the sire of 17 black type horses this season, all conceived at fees of NZ$7,000+GST or less and is scheduled to stand the upcoming season at a dramatically increased fee of NZ$70,000+GST.
His leading progeny include the likes of Prowess, Levante, Legarto, Yonce, Dark Destroyer, Pier, Riodini, Belle Plaisir etc.
The rare offering is sure to create significant interests to buyers, with access to such quality and popular stallions rarely hitting the open market.
