100 Winners Again for Quiet Achiever Magnus

Widden Stud in Victoria is home to one of the most popular sires in the state in quiet achiever Magnus, who racked up his 100th winner of the season over the weekend.

He moved to 101 winners from 202 runners giving him a seasonal strike rate of 50% winner to runner with stakes performers How’s the Serenity, Just Folk, Dashing, Kemalpasa and Mr Exclusive leading the way, not to mention his Hong Kong stakes-winner Sight Success.

of the last active sons at stud of champion sire Flying Spur, Magnus maintains strong fertility and has covered some 370 mares in his past three seasons.

He stands this spring at a fee of $16,500.
