Having her third start in Australia for Chris Waller, Hometruths (GB) was ready to fire and surged around the field to win the 2100m Benchmark 78 event running away by three lengths.

A two time winner in France and fourth in the Group III Saint-Cloud Prix Cleopatre, Hometruths looks certain to measure up to Black Type races judging by this eye-catching victory.

A lovely mare, clearly stamped by Frankel, she was bred by Klawervlei Stud and is a half-sister to Group I winner Bayrir and to the dam of Group IIII winner Baiykara being from Balankiya, a half-sister by Darshaan to Group II winner Balakheri and Group III winner Baliyana, the dam of Group II BRC Brisbane Cup winner Irish Sequel.

Frankel has enjoyed great success in Australia siring 52 winners from 80 runners highlighted by 15 stakes-winners.
