$400,000 Harry Angel Colt a Mill Park Premier Star

Tara Madgwick - Monday March 6

Darley shuttler Harry Angel (IRE) posted an international stakes double last weekend and delivered a big result for Mill Park Stud at Inglis Premier on Monday with the half-brother to Berkeley Square and Senor Toba selling for $400,000.

With his oldest Australian progeny just two year-olds, Harry Angel is showing good promise here with stakes-winner Arkansaw Kid and metro winner Tom Kitten, while in the Northern Hemisphere he posted two brand new stakes-winners last Saturday.

Three year-old colt Al Dasim won the Group III Meydan Nad Al Sheba Turf Sprint Stakes in Dubai, while another three year-old colt Iconic Moment won the Listed Spring Cup at Lingfield in the UK.

$400,000 Harry Angel (IRE) colt from Bahamas

The Mill Park consigned colt was bred by David Peacock from top producer Bahamas and was always going to command interest as a half-brother to a pair of Group winners, so it was no surprise when he was knocked down to Hong Kong based Upper Bloodstock / G Ho.

The colt’s half-brother Senor Toba was a high class three year-old in Australia finishing second in the Group I Queensland Derby and is now a seasoned competitor in Hong Kong middle distance races with recent wins including the Group III Centenary Vase.

Bahamas has been a regular visitor to Darley shuttlers and has a colt to follow by Blue Point (IRE) and was covered last year by Pinatubo (IRE)
