Trapeze Artist was not the only first crop son of Snitzel to post a smart winner last Saturday with Showtime getting in on the act to post his second winner when the Lindsay Park trained colt Tacito won the $200,000 Magic Millions Adelaide 2YO Classic (1200m) at Murray Bridge.
Placed in stakes races at his first two starts in Melbourne, Tacito appreciated the drop in class to power clear win by nearly three lengths as a short priced favourite.
Tacito was a $160,000 Magic Millions purchase for Lindsay Park from the Lime Country Thoroughbreds draft and adds to super successful season for Ben and JD Hayes with their juveniles, none of which could be called expensive.
Tacito runs for an all women syndicate headed by long time Lindsay Park friend and supporter Jenny McAlpine.
Bred by Makybe, Tacito is the first winner for placed Sepoy mare Without Saying, a agrand-daughter of blue hen Shantha’s Choice, the dam of G1 winners Redoute’s Choice, Manhattan Rain and Platinum Scissors.
Without Saying had another colt last spring by Arrowfield Stud’s Showtime and is back in foal to him again.
