Turning 21 this year, Snitzel covered 168 mares last spring at a fee of $220,000 and is also making his mark as a sire of sires through the likes of Shamus Award and Russian Revolution with Trapeze Artist holding promise for the future.

His daughters are also having a growing influence and he is now sire of the dam of 21 stakes-winners after tasting very early success in this sphere when his first crop daughter Eye for Fun produced Golden Slipper winner Mossfun as her first foal.

Stakes-winners this season from Snitzel mares are North Star Lass (Zoustar), Daisies (Sebring), Faithful Feat(Per Incanto (USA), The Novelist (Written By) and Japanese bred and trained Verdad Imeru (Orfevre).

Snitzel is the most represented sire at Inglis Easter.

Snitzel has seven entries for Inglis Premier and then will have a big impact on the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale where he is the most represented sire with 40 entries.
