Yarraman Brings Class to Inglis Classic

Yarraman Park head to Inglis Classic with a quality draft of 22 featuring six yearlings by the farm’s young gun Hellbent and two exciting colts by his reigning champion sire I Am Invincible, who is on track for another record-breaking season.

I Am Invincible has been powering along in the first six months of the racing season with 126 winners of $12.2 million highlighted by 14 Australian stakes-winners, four of them juvenile stakes-winners – King’s Gambit, Charm Stone, Godfather and Madeira Sunrise, who won the Listed ATC Lonhro Plate last Saturday beating another I Am Invincible filly in Sicilian.

He has four colts entered for Inglis Classic and two of them will be offered by Yarraman Park.

“They are both nice horses and good types, but the colt from Navajo Dreamer might be one of the colts of the sale,” said Harry Mitchell.

Lot 633

Lot 633 is the second foal of stakes-placed Navajo Dreamer (IRE), a half-sister to Group II winner Hoh Buzzard (the dam of Group III winner Via Villagio) and Group III winner Ashdown Express, who was also three times placed in some of  the UK’s best Group I sprints.

Lot 567

Lot 567 is the first foal of Lope de Lope, a winning daughter of multiple stakes-winner Litter by renowned European sire Lope de Vega.

Hellbent has been riding high this season with his first stakes-winner Magic Time, plus stakes horses  Hell I Am, Divine Glory, Hell Hath No Fury, Hell Queen, Awestruck and the exciting three time winner Benedetta, who won at Sandown on Saturday.

With 30 yearlings catalogued for this sale, Hellbent will be a major player at Riverside Stables and Yarraman will present six of his youngsters.

“Hellbent is doing a great job and we couldn’t be happier with how he’s going and that was reflected at the Gold Coast where his third crop averaged $200,000 in Book 1 off a $22,000 fee,” said Harry Mitchell.

“Our Hellbent yearlings are a great bunch and the filly from Amber’s Waltz is an interesting one as her full sister Helldancer won a very strong trial at Rosehill last month and Bjorn Baker has her down to trial again on Monday.”

Lot 241

Lot 241 is the full sister to Helldancer, a filly by Hellbent from former slick stakes-placed juvenile Amber’s Waltz, who has left five winners from six to race.

Lot 84

Lot 84 is another lovely Hellbent filly from Sognani, a winning Magic Albert mare from the family of Group winners She Will Be Loved, Luke’s Luck and stakes-winner Enchanted Heart.

Lot 195

Lot 195 is a cracking Hellbent colt, the second foal of young metro winning Exceed and Excel mare from We Have Lift Off, a daughter of stakes-placed Houston Benefactor, a three-quarter sister-in-blood to Champion NZ 3YO Filly Princess Coup.
