The juvenile maiden at Newcastle on Sunday was won by blue-blood I Am Invincible filly Blanc de Blanc, a three-quarter sister-in-blood to Group I ATC Flight Stakes winner Oohood.
Trained by Michael Freedman, Blanc de Blanc won a recent trial and went to the post a short priced favourite for the 900m dash but was made to work for her win by Star Turn filly Saltaire.
The pair drew clear of their rivals with James McDonald urging Blanc de Blanc home to score a head win.
A $360,000 Inglis Classic purchase for James Harron Bloodstock / Freedman Brothers Filly Partnership from the Yarraman Park draft, she is a three-quarter sister-in-blood to Group I winner Oohood from Another Sunday.
James Harron has already enjoyed success with this family having purchased dual Group I winner King’s Legacy for $1.4million, this now promising young stallion being a three-quarter brother to the dam of Blanc de Blanc.
Any Sunday has now had three foals to race and all are winners.
Yarraman Park sold a Hellbent weanling colt from Any Sunday at the Inglis Weanling Sale this year for $60,000 to NZ based Carlaw Park who will re-offer him at Karaka Book 1 as Lot 33.
