Collingrove Stud Six to Star at Great Southern

Daniel Brash and his team at Collingrove Stud are presenting a big draft of 20 plus weanlings for the Inglis Great Southern Sale starting on Thursday including colts by Russian Revolution and Toronado (IRE), plus a colt by Hellbent that had an exciting pedigree update last week.

A diverse draft featuring the progeny of a wide range of up and comings sires, Collingrove have something for everyone with pinhookers to be spoiled for choice when they arrive at Barn F.

Lot 24 Colt I Am Immortal x Quattro Passi, by Dane Shadow

From the first crop of I Am Immortal, a fast and precocious Group III winning son of I Am Invincible. Half-brother to a winner from a daughter of stakes-placed Jesterchine.

Lot 127 Colt Russian Revolution x Very Cherry, by Anabaa (USA)

By Australia’s leading first season sire Russian Revolution and is a half-brother to two winners from stakes-placed Very Cherry.

Lot 193 Colt Hellbent x Calusa, by High Chaparral (IRE)

From the family of Group I winner and Champion Sire Fastnet Rock as well as current Group II winner Lightsaber, this colt is a three-quarter brother to promising 3YO filly Pretty Wild, who made a winning debut at Warwick Farm last Wednesday.

Trained by Chris Waller, the daughter of Brazen Beau could not have been more impressive and appears to have a very bright future, read about her here.

Lot 241 Colt Toronado (IRE) x Empress Ida, by Blevic

By Victorian favourite Toronado, the sire of G1 winning sprinters Masked Crusader and Shelby Sixtysix.  Half-brother to multiple Group II and III winner Kiwi Ida from the family of Group III winner Royal Ida.

Lot 318 Filly Frosted (USA) x Lady Spitfire, by Bel Esprit

By well-regarded shuttle sire Frosted and comes from an impressive Black Type family. Half-sister to a winner from a winning half-sister to stakes-winner Mihalic. Grand-dam Batik is a full sister to blue hen Pretty Penny, the dam of Group winners Sertorius, Pretty Brazen, Pretty Amazing, Dollar for Dollar and Clifton Red.

Lot 373 Filly Vino Rosso (USA) x Iberian Rubi, by Rock of Gibraltar (IRE)

From the first crop of G1 Breeders Cup Classic winner Vino Rosso. Half-sister to two winners from the family of Group I winners Century and Gamine.
