Quaddie attack for the grand finals weekend

Breednet - Friday September 29

There is nothing better than cheering home the final leg to land a fat quaddie and Racenet's analysts have put their heads together to give you a chance at a big dividend on Saturday across the grand finals weekened.

Here are our suggested quadrella strategies.

Moonee Valley

1st leg

1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 10

2nd leg

1, 3, 7, 10

3rd leg

1, 2, 13

4th leg

2, 3, 4, 7, 9

360 Combinations

Analysis: Fantastic night of racing at Moonee Valley on Friday. High quality, competitive fields should see a healthy quaddie. With even races throughout we are going to narrow it down in the Group I Moir Stakes. Terravista, Russian Revolution and She Will Reign should all run well and are our anchors. We have leg two down to four winning chances, while we will be hoping for some value in legs one and four where not many would surprise.

$20 investment = 5.56%

Randwick

1st leg

1, 10

2nd leg

1, 2, 9

3rd leg

2, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11

4th leg

4, 7, 8, 10, 12

210 Combinations

Analysis: Chautauqua will be hard to hold out over his favourite track and distance while In Her Time has looked outstanding at the trials and should run well. Happy Clapper looks set to claim his first Group I in the Epsom Handicap but Tom Melbourne and Foxplay are capable of a minor upset. The Metropolitan is wide open, as is the final event.

$20 investment = 9.52%

Caulfield

1st leg

3, 6, 9

2nd leg

1, 8

3rd leg

1, 3, 4, 5, 10, 14

4th leg

1, 2, 3, 11, 12, 13

216 Combinations

Analysis: We have to go short on the first two legs with Royal Symphony and Hartnell looking extremely difficult to beat. We are taking insurance however as if they go under it would really boost the quaddie dividend. Hard to get overly confident in the final two legs so we will go wide and hope for some value. We might need some if the first two favourites salute as expected.

$20 investment = 9.26%

Sunshine Coast

1st leg

1, 3, 4, 11

2nd leg

4, 9

3rd leg

4, 7, 8, 14, 15

4th leg

2, 5, 10

120 Combinations

Analysis: Deep Image returns in the second leg and will be the main anchor of the quaddie. He rates well and should run a big race fresh. Manias is the key in the final leg, having won his past three. Impregnable in good form also and is the danger. Main chances in the remaining legs.

$20 investment = 16.67%

Morphettville

1st leg

1, 2

2nd leg

1, 3, 5

3rd leg

1, 7, 8, 9

4th leg

2, 8, 10, 11, 13

108 combinations

Analysis: We expect Balf's Choice to be extremely hard to beat again in the first leg, he's in outstanding form and may be able to take control early. Articus the danger coming through strong races in Melbourne. The winning chances in leg two are limited to three while the last two legs are more difficult to assess.

$20 investment = 18.52%

Belmont

1st leg

3, 4, 6, 8

2nd leg

4, 7

3rd leg

6, 10

4th leg

1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10

112 Combinations

Analysis: There are only a couple of winning chances in the middle legs and we will stand them out. We expect the three-year-old Athlete to be hard to beat again after an effortless win last start in the second leg while Floyd couldn't have been any more impressive last start and looks set to take out the third. Going out wide for the final leg and main chances in the first.

$20 investment = 17.86 %
