Hawkes Racing Purchase $1.7million Dundeel Filly

Mark Smith - Wednesday April 6

A filly out of the Group 1 MRC Thousand Guineas winner Stay With Me set a new benchmark for Dundeel when selling to Hawkes Racing for $1,700,000.

The price set a new highwater mark for Dundeel who had his first $1million yearling yesterday.

A half-sister to this season’s Listed Talindert Stakes runner-up Waltz On By and the winning Deep Impact (JPN) filly Always On My Mind, the record priced Dundeel filly is the third foal of Stay With Me (Street Cry), a daughter of the 5-time Group 1 winning champion Miss Finland. (lot 448)
