MM Gold Coast March Yearling Sale Online

Media Release - Wednesday February 9

The auction that gives buyers more incentives than any other, the Magic Millions Gold Coast March Yearling Sale, is set to deliver more stars for the future with today's online release of a first class catalogue.

The sale source of top-liners Buffering, Spirit of Boom, Winning Rupert, Apache Chase and Hong Kong's Wishful Thinker will see 427 select lots go under the hammer over two days, March 21 and 22.

Queensland breds have a proud history of performing at the elite level with the likes of Isotope, Incentivise, Golden Sixty and Jonker among the current stable of stars representing the state, while others like Capitalist, Written Tycoon and Zoustar are now headliners at stud.

All lots offered have been subject to the first payment for QTIS and buyers will have the opportunity to scoop $67,200 (colts and geldings) and $79,450 (fillies) every Saturday for a Queensland metropolitan two and three-year-old win for fully paid QTIS gallopers.

Prospective New South Wales based buyers and owners will be impressed with the quality line up of 119 lots who are BOBS eligible - youngsters by more than 50 individual sires.

Paid up QTIS yearlings get to race in more feature events across Queensland than others - headlined by races including the $500,000 Aquis QTIS 2YO Jewel as well as the $500,000 QTIS 3YO Jewel at the Gold Coast.

Buyers at the 2022 Gold Coast March Yearling Sale will have the added incentive of a discount on the Magic Millions Race Series nomination fee to make their purchase eligible for the $14 million suite of graduate races held across six states of Australia. The $1 million Racing Queensland Magic Millions QTIS Open, won earlier this year by $70,000 buy Wisdom of Water, is an ideal target each year for graduates.

The online catalogue for the sale can be accessed here. It can also be downloaded via the Equineline Catalog App for iPad.
