$650,000 Tiger Heart Tops MM Online

Media Release - Thursday February 3

Last start Group winner Tiger Heart is headed to Sydney after selling for a record price of $650,000 in today's Magic Millions February Online Sale.

Tiger Heart sold for $650,000.
The Vo Rogue winner was purchased by well known international owner Bon Ho's Legend Racing and will join the stables of renowned horseman Les Bridge.

Tiger Heart was one of two lots to sell for over half a million dollars today with the sale of stakes winning filly Fake Love to Glentree Pastoral for $505,000.

The pair are now the top selling lots for the Magic Millions Online sales platform, which in its infancy has proven popular with both vendors and buyers.

Bon Ho, best known in Australia as the owner of star sprinter Classique Legend, was thrilled to be able to purchase the top seller Tiger Heart.

"He's a successful young horse and we're delighted to have secured him," Ho said. "He will join the stables of Les Bridge and be campaigned in Sydney."

Tiger Heart was prepared throughout his career by leading Brisbane trainer Tony Gollan and he was offered for sale by the Estate of the Late Krit Chittaseni.

Meanwhile, Victoria's Glentree Pastoral secured the superbly bred Debutant Stakes winner Fake Love for $505,000 a short time later.

A former National Weanling Sale graduate, Fake Love was offered on behalf of her American connections by Ciaron Maher Racing.

Today's February Online Sale averaged $47,870 with a healthy clearance rate of 82 per cent.

"It was great to see such strong bidding on so many lots for today's online sale," Magic Millions Managing Director Barry Bowditch said. "We thank the vendors and bidders who participated for their support."

"To have been entrusted to offer Tiger Heart and Fake Love on behalf of their owners is a great vote of confidence in Magic Millions Online. We look forward to the opportunity of marketing and selling more quality lots into the future."

The next Magic Millions Online Sale will be held from March 7 to 10 with entries closing on March 2. For more information or to lodge an entry click here.
