Tye Angland finally got his Group I Golden Rose as well as a Group III scalp in a memorable day at Rosehill on Saturday.
Once again, Racenet was on hand to get the feedback from every rider after every race.
This is what the jockeys thought of their rides during the day.

He was good. I've got a bit of time for the horse – I won on him first start in a race. He bungled the start up a bit so I just tried to teach him to relax. He overdid it for a furlong and a half like a couple of us would have off a slow speed but he proved good enough. |

OUR MANTRA |
Corey Brown |
Run super but he got galloped on in the first 100m of the race and it stirred him right up. It took his momentum and focus away but he went really well. |
3rd |
PARET |
Hugh Bowman |
He's obviously got talent – there's no question of that – but he needs to get into a pattern. He threw it away in the final stages so there's a couple of chinks in his armour at the moment. |

AONAIR |

She ran well. Box-seated, travelled keenly and probably wants further now. |

Nice run outside the lead but didn't have the finish of the others. |

Ran well, still a bit raw. |

I had to produce him earlier than I wanted to as I had no horse dragging me through but he fortunately tried his hardest and kept going for a nice win. |

ADMIRAL JELLO |

He was crammed for room for about furlong in the straight. That was the most vital part of his race and he wasn't allowed to let down. |
3rd |
BROADSIDE |
Tim Clark |
Ran well. He was up a bit in weight today and that was probably the telling factor. He was brave. |

Run well, he's just very one-paced. Looking for a bit further as well. |

He battled, he's going to need to turn his form around. He never went when I asked him. |

Progressing nicely. He was better behaved today and that race at Randwick next start is going to be perfect for him. |

Nice effort. The winner was in a different class but his run was great. |

Very encouraging run. The horse is probably 6-12 months off but I couldn't complain about the effort. |

Over-raced but battled on well. |

He's a nice progressive stayer. I think we'll hear a lot more of him. There was a lot more give in the track today and back to 2000m also helped. He's going to enjoy a high pressure handicap – I think he'll measure up in time. |

UP 'N' ROLLING |

Ran well but the winner just got first run on me and he's been an unlucky second. |

Went well. Improved a lot from his last run. He relaxed with the blinkers off and worked home strongly. |

Good run. Has improved immensely since first-up and he'll take a lot of improvement out of that one too. |

He's a better horse ridden with cover but that couldn't happen from the draw. That said, I still think he should have raced better than he did. |

I thought I had an easy enough time in front, I knew I was going to get attacked but when Tommy came at me it really picked my horse up because when he got to the front he really switched off. It probably helped me, it got the bit back in his mouth. When I got to the corner I let him slide, gave him a good dig, and he responded well. |

I was very proud of him today, he was beaten fair and square, but his manners were much better and I thought his run had merit. |

Went terrific, ended up outside the speed early and she just wasn't tracking well, I was going to run nowhere on the corner and it wasn't until I went back to the inside and followed the first two through she picked up well to the line. |

I was three deep, the tempo was nice enough for me to stay there. I didn't want to put any more pressure on because I was travelling well and she was comfortable, balanced and in rhythm. When I came to the turn she balanced up well and she showed that turn of foot that she can show. She burst away from them. |

He's hard fit and on paper it looked like he would get an easy lead. And I didn't want to fight him because he's that type of horse - if you argue with him you're going to lose every time so it's just a matter of working with him. |
