A homebred for Ridgemont Stud that was foaled in Australia, Kitty Cat Chat is the first foal of New Zealand bred Singapore stakes-winner Whats New Pussycat (Kiwi Karma), a half-sister by Fast ‘n’ Famous to stakes-winner Seaway.
Whats New Pussycat was exported to Ireland in 2019 with her second foal, a filly by Maurice (Jpn).
Ridgemont Stud also had success later on the program with another of their Australian foaled homebreds in Real Gone Kid, who won the Pinnacle Stakes over 1100m by a neck.
A four year-old stallion by Snitzel, the Brett Crawford trained Real Gone Kid has the tidy record of five wins and two placings from nine starts.
Real Gone Kid is the first foal of Champion South African 3YO Filly In the Fast Lane, a dual Group I winning half-sister by Jet Master to Group I winner and Champion 3YO Colt Let’s Rock’n Roll as well as Group II winner Light the Lights and two more stakes-winners.
In the Fast Lane and her following Snitzel filly Stiptelik, now also a winner in South Africa, were both exported in 2019.
