The spring season will feature three special episodes including the expansion of Thoroughbred Sport Horse Association, bringing sponsors from the racing and breeding industry to reward thoroughbred riders with great prizemoney at competitions across Australia.

Monday’s episode also features an extensive look at the problems ex-racehorses face with sudden changes of diet when they move to a new home. Equine nutritionist Rebecca Ham of Kentucky Equine has some great information to help your horse make a smooth transition into a new environment.

Thoroughbreds Are Go will also visit Carbine Club Stakes’ winner Lunar Rise in his new role with the NSW Mounted Police and update on other states’ work in the re-homing space.

Arrowfield Stud graduate Lunar Rise has had a fascinating life going from racehorse to showjumper to Troop Horse Martin!

Arrowfield Stud’s “Strapper Stories” features former stable staff whose love for the thoroughbreds in their care has led them to either take them on post-racing or follow their welfare in their new homes. The love of the horse really shines through in this heart-warming segment each week.

Hugely popular amongst racing owners and equestrian groups make sure you don’t miss Thoroughbreds Are Go, Monday nights at 7.30pm, also streamed live on the home page at racingnsw.com.au
