Spin The Reward won Race 5, storming home down the outside for trainer Peter Hardacre. Replay. She is owned/bred by Jim Pegler who is once again supporting Chatswood this year. Spin The Reward beat home Hello Ladies who looks to have a promising future. She was sold by Chatswood at the Inglis Great Southern Sale.

Race 7 saw another typical, front running display from Rock The Ring. Replay. He is owned/bred by Frank Bannigan and is undefeated for his new trainer Tony McEvoy.

By Race 9, Reward was just having a laugh with his son Outpost sitting three-wide no cover and winning for trainer Jason Cannon who recorded his first winner since 2013. Replay. Outpost is owned/bred by Tony Pappalardo who has been a relentless supporter of Chatswood for 20+ years.

The progeny of Reward For Effort have always performed and sold well in Adelaide as seen in one of his fillies selling for $110k at the 2021 Adelaide Magic Millions Sale. Meanwhile, one of Reward's most promising horses Outlaws Revenge is due to resume soon for Ryan Balfour. He was a $150k buy from the Adelaide sale.

Just for good measure, Reward sired a fifth winner for the day in Alice Springs by the name of Allspice.
