$7,000 Inglis Digital Success is Exactly as Advertised

Tara Madgwick - Sunday July 18

A $7,000 Inglis Digital purchase from the Inglis June (Late) Sale, this three year-old Outreach gelding has started twice for his new trainer this week and won both times!

Now in the stable of Wangaratta trainer Craig Weeding, Claptone won at Albury on Tuesday in a Benchmark 58 event and then won again at Narrandera today over 1200m in a Class Two as a hot favourite.

Claptone is far from a world beater, but he has his level and with three wins and three seconds from 19 starts has won over $71,000 with over $24,000 of that coming in his past two wins

Claptone started his career with the Corstens stable in Melbourne before moving to Matt Dunn, who offered him on Inglis Digital with the following assessment.

Claptone has won two races this week, click to see his ad - $7,000 well spent!

Claptone has been a model of consistency since moving to Northern NSW recently but his owner is only interested in city class horses and is happy to let him go.This bloke is versatile in his racing pattern and has gives 100% when he goes around. He has been close up a couple of times on Good tracks but really thrives on rain affected going so probably a good idea to keep him in the area.
With plenty of racing ahead of him, he should definitley pay his way and be the source of plenty of fun for his new owners.

His two wins this week were both on heavy tracks!
