Strong Slipper Entries for Newgate Sires

Newgate Farm have three of the Top 10 most represented sires with entries for the 2022 Golden Slipper to be run at Rosehill next March.

Capitalist has 99 entries for the 2022 Golden Slipper.

Capitalist, who had three runners in the 2021 Golden Slipper, leads the way with 99 entries followed by Deep Field on 68 and Russian Revolution on 66.

Capitalist has the same number of Golden Slipper entries as Snitzel and is third on the most represented sires list behind only I Am Invincible and Zoustar.

Among the entries for Capitalist are his two highest priced yearlings this year, colts from Miss Interiors and Bonnie Mac that both sold for $1,050,000 at Inglis Easter.

 

Russian Revolution has the most Golden Slipper entries of all first season sires.

Snitzel’s brilliant dual Group I winning son Russian Revolution is the most represented of all first season sires and a good number of his rising two year-olds are already named and include:

Other Newgate young gun sires represented with Slipper entries are Flying Artie (24), Winning Rupert (20) and Extreme Choice (20), who sired the 2021 winner Stay Inside. Also fertility hampered Menari with eight.
