Billiondollarbaby Shines Light on Pinhook Successes

Breednet - Friday April 30

The win on Wednesday at Warwick Farm by the unbeaten Billiondollarbaby shone a light on next week’s Inglis Australian Weanling Sale from where the million dollar yearling was a profitable pinhook graduate.

Billiondollarbaby as a weanling

By I Am Invincible out of Group One winning mare Srikandi, Billiondollarbaby was sold as a weanling for $600,000 at the 2019 Australian Weanling Sale the day before her dam sold for $2million at the Inglis Chairman’s Sale in a profitable week for connections.

Returning in 2020 as a yearling in the Kitchwin Hills draft at the Inglis Easter Sale, she subsequently made $1million to Andrew Williams Bloodstock and continues to do the right thing by all involved with a perfect race record thus far of two starts, two wins from the Peter and Paul Snowden yard.

Billiondollarbaby as a yearling

The Australian Weanling Sale has been returning impressive results for pinhookers in recent years and with the red hot yearling market this year there’s bound to be an appetite for those investors again.

Below are the top five pinhook results by profit for the last five years and show that success can be had across all price points in the market.
