A $1million Inglis Easter Yearling Sale purchase in 2020, blue-blooded I Am Invincible filly Billiondollarbaby made it two wins in as many starts when scoring at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.
Trained by Peter and Paul Snowden, Billiondollarbaby took a little sit behind the leaders this time after leading to win on debut at Canterbury earlier this month.
She travelled well for Hugh Bowman and hit the line hard to win the fillies event over 1100m by three-quarters of a length.
“She was professional today and she was last start too,” said Hugh Bowman.
“She’s not overly big, but she’s very strong.”
Billiondollarbaby may chase Black Type for her next assignment or head to the paddock with co-trainer Paul Snowden indicating they would be guided by the filly.
She carries the colours of Greg Ingham’s GPI Racing, who also part-own her winning three year-old half-sister Heroess.
A $600,000 weanling, Billiondollarbaby was purchased by Andrew Williams Bloodstock for $1million out of the Kitchwin Hills draft at the 2020 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale.
Heroess and Billiondollarbaby are the first two foals from dual Group I winning Dubawi (IRE) mare Srikandi, who was bought by Tom Magnier for $2million at the 2019 Inglis Chairman’s Sale.
Srikandi has a yearling filly by American Pharoah (USA) and a weanling colt by Justify (USA), who covered her again last spring.
