The handsome bay was knocked down to Shane McGrath acting for Tony Fung Investments and is the most expensive yearling by Exceed and Excel ever sold.

Foaled and raised at Vinery for breeders Neil Werrett and Steve McCann, the star colt is the second foal of Peace Force, a Group II winning Bernardini (USA) half-sister to five-time Group I winner and $4.2million earner Eremein.

Peace Force was bought by Vinery Stud from the 2016 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale for $520,000 and had a filly by I Am Invincible last year.

She is in foal to the stud’s exciting young sire Exceedance, a Group I winning son of Exceed and Excel, so will produce a three-quarter sibling to the $2.1million colt this spring.

Darley's champion sire Exceed and Excel has had nine previous yearlings sell for $1million or more with this colt from Peace Force now moving to the top of his most expensive yearlings list as shown below.
