Two Bays Farm Sold Debut 2YO Winner

At the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale last year, Two Bays Farm sold a strapping Reward for Effort colt in the Showcase session for $155,000 and he made a winning debut at Kilmore on Thursday for the John Salanitri stable.

King’s Ransom finished off with a late rush to snatch a long neck win in the 1100m maiden pleasing connections with his ownership group including Arthur and Charlotte Inglis.

It was a good solid effort from a horse that’s still improving and learning and he’s going to get over further,” said stable representative Frank Salanitri.

 

King's Ransom was sold at Inglis Premier last year by Two Bays Farm for $155,000.

King’s Ransom was bred by Hill Holme Stud and is the sixth winner from six foals to race from good producer Viva Dubai, a half-sister to Group III placed Far Horizons from the family of Group I winner Desert Eagle, who as Hong Kong Horse of the Year and Champion Sprinter racing there as Grand Delight.
