An
impressive maiden win for this well-related Snitzel filly made her an easy
choice as the ‘One to Watch’ from Wyong on Thursday.
The Kris Lees trained Just Dreaming was having her second start in the 1350
metre maiden and led throughout for Tommy Berry from gate one to win by three
lengths.
A $450,000 Inglis Easter purchase for T Moore from the Yarraman Park draft, Just
Dreaming runs for Judy Wanless, who was also in the ownership of the next winner
on the card, racing four year-old High Chaparral (IRE) gelding Calypso Bay with
her husband Ron.
Just Dreaming is the first foal of stakes-winning Commands mare Royal Commands,
who comes from the family of Group II winner Bundy Lad.
Yarraman Park sold a Not a Single Doubt filly from Royal Commands at Inglis Easter
this year for $140,000 to Bruce Elkington Bloodstock.
