The renowned colours of the Hutchins family made famous by Australian Horse of the Year Typhoon Tracy were carried to victory at Newcastle on Tuesday by the half-sister to Group I ATC Australian Oaks winner Once Were Wild.

A late blooming four year-old mare by Hallowed Crown, the Ron Quinton trained Send Me Wild was sent out favourite for the 1350m maiden and scored a dominant length and a half win.
Placed once from four starts last season, she has obviously strengthened and improved from her break and can win more races.
A homebred for the Hutchins family, Send Me Wild is the ninth winner from 10 foals to race from Wildesong, who they bought for $55,000 at the 2014 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale.
Wildesong was retired from stud duty earlier this year and her final foal is a yearling colt by Sooboog.
Send Me Wild looks a progressive type for Hallowed Crown, who stands at Twin Hills Stud at a fee of $11,000 and is best known for siring Group I ATC Australian Oaks and $7.5million Golden Eagle winner Colette.
