Rising
star sire I Am Invincible has reeled off four quick Australian winners since
Saturday, but broke new ground with his first South African winner when promising
filly Superwoman saluted on debut at Vaal on Tuesday.
Prepared by Gavin van Zyl, Superwoman is the first runner for her sire in South
Africa and overcame an outside draw to win the 1200 metre maiden for fillies
and mares by the best part of a length.
A $70,000 Inglis Classic Summer Book purchase for Paul Guy's Heritage
Bloodstock from the Ambergate Farm draft, Superwoman is the seventh winner from
seven to race from Zebithea, who died last year.
I Am Invincible is fully booked at Yarraman Park this year at a fee of $55,000.
