Horse Movement Restrictions as at July 14

Media Release - Tuesday July 14

There are currently restrictions around the movement of horses from VIC to licenced premises and racecourses in other states in Australia.

Racing NSW have advised that no horses will be permitted to enter a licensed premises OR racecourse in New South Wales (or the ACT) for an indefinite period.

Racing NSW advise that they will be closely monitoring horse movements into the state through stable returns etc.

The same rule is in place for Western Australia.

At this stage, such restrictions are not in place in Queensland.

We are working to clarify the situation in Tasmania, South Australia and the Northern Territory.

This is an ever-evolving situation and we encourage participants to consult your local Provincial Racing Association (PRA) to confirm the prevailing conditions before the movement of any horses.

Participants are also encouraged to consult their preferred transport company and also investigate agistment arrangements where necessary.

Members of the Inglis Bloodstock Team have inspected Melbourne Gold Yearlings and the draft of Godolphin mares and are available for consultation on all lots. Inglis has also circulated details of the location of catalogued Melbourne Gold Yearlings which are available for inspection.

For a copy of the schedule, please contact a member of the Inglis Bloodstock Team or CLICK HERE.

Final countdown of bidding commences with Lot 1 at 10am (AEST) this Thursday, July 16.
