Timely boost for Jimmy Choux yearling in tonight’s gavelhouse.com NZ auction

Media Release - Monday September 4
The Jimmy Choux yearling colt at Lot 6 in the current gavelhouse.com New Zealand received a timely pedigree boost when his full brother Parlay Vous returned to the winners circle at Hawkesbury over 1000m on Saturday.

Lot 6 colt by Jimmy ChouxMarking trainer John O'Shea's first winner back training in his own right, Parlay Vous was having his eighth career start when he recorded his second win for Champion Thoroughbreds adding to his record of three other placings and over $50,000 in prize money.

Like Parley Vous, the yearling colt on offer was born and raised at Curraghmore with Parlay Vous fetching $105,000 as a yearling at Karaka in 2015. Their dam My Parlay, a daughter of Flying Spur, has also produced multiple winners in Queen of Navarre (four wins), and Shame on You (six wins).

This is also the family of Group One performers Good Faith, Daffodil, and Tully Dane with the colt holding a nomination for the 2018 NZB Karaka Yearling Sales Series should the successful buyer consider progressing to that option.

Further information on the colt can be found on his listing page, or by contacting Gordon Cunningham on 021 762 559.

Bidding is set to close in the 41-Lot catalogue tonight from 7pm NZT. You can contact the NZ team on
