Another Debut winner for De Gaulle
Blue-blood Exceed and Excel stallion De Gaulle posted a debut winner at Moe on Saturday in Rosa’s Revenge and he followed up with another at Cranbourne on Thursday when Bonjour de Gaulle saluted in style.
De Gaulle Filly Impresses on Debut
From a handful of runners, the young Bombora Downs stallion De Gaulle notched his third winner at Moe on Saturday, with the debutant Rosa’s Revenge proving a class above in the 1114m maiden for three-year-old fillies.
Saturday’s opener at Randwick serves up a number of exceptionally credentialed bluebloods whose connections will be hoping to be players in the top two-year-old races this autumn.
Impeccable breeding! A son of Champion Sire & Sire of Sires in Exceed And Excel (205 stakes winners of $250 million), De Gaulle is a half brother to Group 1 Golden Slipper winner Estijaab, while another half brother sold for $2,250,000 million to Coolmore at Easter '22. Although showing immense talent in the stables of Peter & Paul Snowden, De Gaulle was sadly unraced due to a tendon injury. De Gaulle is the ideal opportunity for the 'breed to race' : high class blood lines at a very reasonable price.
