Best of Bordeaux Retires to Coolmore

Second in last year’s Group I ATC Golden Slipper after winning the Group II ATC Silver Slipper, Best of Bordeaux has been retired from racing and will commence his stud career at Coolmore Australia in the spring.

Bordeaux Back to His Best

Top class Snitzel colt Best of Bordeaux was second in the Group I ATC Golden Slipper last season and showed he was back to that form at Randwick on Saturday when making the best of heavy 10 conditions to win the Group II ATC Roman Consul Stakes (1200m).

Juvenile Trial Watch - Randwick

The trials for Tuesday at Randwick were switched from the grass to the polytrack resulting in plenty of scratchings but the Group and Listed heat still featured some potential spring stars and we got a look at star colt Best of Bordeaux, while a couple of Russian Revolution 2YO’s impressed and a problem child by Deep Field caught the eye.
