Lone Frankel Colt an Inglis Easter Highlight

Sponsored Content - by Tara Madgwick - Thursday April 2

Julie Harris of Holbrook Thoroughbreds only has two yearlings to offer at Inglis Easter, but as stunning colts by champion sires Pierro and Frankel they will be come under instant consideration from buyers.

When the Inglis Easter catalogue was released there were nine entries by world renowned sire Frankel, but after withdrawals only three will be offered and just one of those is a colt.

Lot 240 is the second foal of Thai Noon (GB), a winning Dansili daughter of stakes-winner Alsace Lorraine, whose grand-dam is Champion French 2YO Filly Miss Tahiti.

Thai Noon comes with a top class pedigree as she is closely related to Group I Thousand Guineas winner Miss France, who is also by Dansili, and her first foal, a filly by Frankel sold at Inglis Easter last year for $400,000 to Ciaron Maher Racing.

Lot 458 is the Pierro colt from Group II winner Free at Last (NZ), who has done a great job producing three winners headed by stakes-winner Great Again, who has won nine races and over $387,000 in prizemoney.

His sire Pierro is the leading sire in the country by earnings and he goes into the first day of The Championships at Randwick on Saturday with key Group I runners Pierata and Shadow Hero.
