Strong Premier for Pierro

The final session of the 2020 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale Book One in Melbourne on Monday was topped by a quality colt that sold for $575,000 by Golden Slipper winner Pierro, who was the leading sire at the sale by aggregate.

$575,000 Pierro colt from Pass the Parcel

Consigned by Blue Gum Farm, the colt from Pass the Parcel was bought by First Light Racing / Busuttin Racing / Paul Willetts Bloodstock and was the second highest priced yearling for the entire sale.

He is a half-brother to Group II placed three year-old Express Pass and is the fourth foal of More Than Ready mare Pass the Parcel, who comes from the family of Group I winners Kementari and Sterling City.




Pierro had 13 yearlings sell at Oaklands at an average $170,000 and was the leading sire by aggregate with his stock generating $2,210,000.
