Justin Snaith trained the winners of half the stakes races at Kenilworth in South Africa on Saturday including the Australian-bred Crown Towers in the Listed Jet Master Stakes.
The outsider of Snaith’s three runners in the race, Crown Towers defeated Capoiera by a head with Sovereign Spirit two and a half lengths back in third.
The 4yo son of Camelot was a $280,000 Inglis Premier purchase from the Mill Park draft for Heywood Bloodstock / Mayfair Speculators before 80% shares in Crown Towers were re-sold for R1,7 million to the current owners at the 2018 Central Route Trading Sale Durbanville Mixed and Horses In Training Sale in July 2018.
He is the best of three winners out of the Group II placed Galileo (IRE) mare Miss With Attitude who has an American Pharoah (USA) colt in the Mill Park draft heading to the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale. lot 80
Japan’s Big Red Farm purchased a Sebring colt out of Miss With Attitude for $210,000 at last year’s Easter Sale. He was named Cosmo Striker and sent to Japan.
Miss With Attitude was one of 167 mares to visit 5-time Group 1 winner The Autumn Sun (Redoute’s Choice) last spring.
