Tom Baddock - Wednesday August 30

Bookmakers believe the Winx formline will prove superior in Saturday's Group II Tramway Stakes (1400m) at Randwick.

After an excellent first-up performance behind Winx and Foxplay Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott's Ecuador has opened as the $3.80 favourite for the $200,000 event.

The eight-year-old boasts an imposing second-up record of three wins from seven starts and has only ever missed a place once from 10 starts at the distance.

Invincible Gem is second-elect in the market after an outstanding performance to beat stablemate Le Romain in the Group II Missile Stakes while Pat Webster's Happy Clapper is first-up and rounds out the top three in betting at $4.80.

Below is a comparison of the opening final field markets of six wagering operators on Saturday's Group II Tramway Stakes.
