Wyong Cup fields and form online

Clinton Payne - Wednesday August 30

We get a Saturday racing entree on Friday when the Listed Wyong Cup headlines the Wyong Race Club's biggest meeting of the year and Racenet has the fields and form online.

The $160,000 main event attracted a field of eight runners including the handy stayers Sayed, Destiny's Kiss and Dee I Cee while the Taree Cup winner Pirate Ben also contests the race.

Supporting the Wyong Cup is the $125,000 Listed Mona Lisa Stakes (1350m) where 13 mares will face the starter.

Toy Show Quality winner Sweet Redemption is the 58.5kg top weight while the field also includes classy performers Imposing Lass, Rocket Commander, Shazee Lee and Lubiton.

Also on Friday's card are metropolitan standard races – the Da Vinci 3&4YO Handicap (1300m) and the Showtime Handicap (1100m).

The eight-race program starts at 12.50pm (AEDT). The track was rated a good (4) at acceptance time while the rail will be in the true position for the entire circuit.

The Bureau of Meteorology forecast for Sydney for the rest of the week is:

Wednesday: Sunny. Max 20.
Thursday: Partly cloudy. Max 18.
Friday: Mostly sunny. Max 19.
