Rubisaki Another Inglis Classic Edinburgh Park Star

Exciting Rubick filly Rubisaki is the latest star performer to emerge from Ian Smith’s Edinburgh Park and Sydney racegoers will see her in action on Saturday when she steps out in the $1million Inglis Sprint (1200m).

Rubisaki was an $85,000 Inglis Classic purchase from the Edinburgh Park draftAn $85,000 Inglis Classic Book 2 purchase for astute purchaser Joe O’Neill of Prime Thoroughbreds, Rubisaki was bred and sold by Ian Smith and has proven a natural runner with four wins and two seconds from six starts with prizemoney just shy of $270,000.

Rubisaki is the latest name to add to a long list of superior horses sold by Edinburgh Park that includes world champion sprinter Silent Witness, stakes-winners such as Bull Point, Amovatio, Sister Madly, Dances on Waves and this season’s two year-old stakes-winner Tanker, the first stakes-winner for first season sire Pride of Dubai.

Add to that list of past graduates current promising stakes horses such as War Memorial, Lady Naturaliste and progressive gelding Eleven Eleven, who has been stakes-placed at his last three starts behind boom three year-old Alligator Blood including a game second in the $2million Magic Millions 3YO Guineas.

Another promising current season juvenile is Glenfiddich, who was second last start in the Listed MRC Blue Diamond Preview and runs this Saturday in the Group III MRC Blue Diamond Prelude as does Tanker.

The Edinburgh Park draft for Inglis Classic features five yearlings as follows.

Lot 55 Filly Star Witness x Chiqada (NZ), by Fast ‘n’ Famous



Very typical Star Witness type, she is the third foal of metropolitan winning daughter of Group III winner High Grove.

Lot 60 Filly Divine Prophet x Chula Vista, by Encosta de Lago



Half-sister to two smart winners rom the family of GI stars Horlicks, Brew, Fiumicino, Sacred Elixir and Mr Quickie. Has an interesting double cross of champion sires Encosta de Lago and Danehill.

Lot 133 Filly Pride of Dubai x Face Forward, by Charge Forward



Second foal of a metro winning daughter of outstanding broodmare sire Charge Forward, sire of the dams of Golden Slipper winners She Will Reign and Estijaab as well as Champion 3YO Sprinter Sunlight.

Lot 137 Colt Flying Artie x Fearless Choice, by Lonhro



First foal of an unraced half-sister to Group III placed More Radiant from the family of brilliant Group II ATC Silver Slipper winner Amelia’s Dream.

Lot 193 Colt Pride of Dubai x Idyllic Mood, by High Chaparral (USA)



Second foal of a placed three-quarter sister-in-blood to stakes-winner Whispered Secret from the family of Group I winner Prized Icon.
