Outreach Yearlings Not to be Missed at Inglis Classic

Sponsored Content - by Tara Madgwick - Monday February 3

Fresh from siring his first winner last week, Widden Stud’s promising young sire Outreach has five entries for the upcoming Inglis Classic Yearling Sale with the quality of his pedigree again highlighted at Randwick on Saturday when his full brother Standout won the Group II ATC Expressway Stakes.

Also a full brother to Golden Slipper winner Overreach and three-quarter brother-in-blood to Blue Diamond winner Reward for Effort, Outreach had just one start finishing second in the Group III ATC Canonbury Stakes behind Vancouver.

Retired prematurely due to injury, Outreach never had the chance to fulfil his potential on the track, but given the natural talent he displayed in that one start and the power of his pedigree was given his chance at stud and has been well received at a modest fee.

His five entries for Inglis Classic include three that will be offered by Widden Stud and they are listed below.

Lot 31 Colt Outreach x Brooklyn Rain, by Manhattan Rain

Second foal of a grand-daughter of Group II placed Hanky Pank from the family of Group I winner Oohood and leading sire Not a single Doubt.

Lot 394 Colt Outreach x Queen of the Nile, by Wanted

Second foal of a half-sister to five time Group I winner Mummify and to the dams of Group winners Take Pride (by Reward for Effort)  and Ottoman (by Exceed and Excel).

Lot 796 Colt Outreach x Adriatic, by Sebring

Second foal of a half-sister to Group II placed Lady Tatia from the family of Group I winners Shogun Lodge, Referral and Singing the Blues.
