Winning Double for Rubick

Tara Madgwick - Sunday January 26

The leading Australian second crop sire by earnings, Rubick posted a winning double at Wyong on Sunday with two smart three year-old winners in Designated and Turnstyle .

Rubick had a winning double on Sunday and has strong representation at upcoming Inglis Classic SaleDesignated won by nearly three lengths at his first attempt at 1600 metres taking his overall record to two wins and three placings from 10 starts for the Kristen Buchanan stable.

The Bjorn Baker trained filly Turnstyle looks a promising type registering her second win from just three starts when scoring an easy victory over older rivals as favourite in the 1000 metre dash.

A $120,000 Inglis Classic purchase from the Carramar Park draft for Henderson Racing / Andrew Williams Bloodstock,  Turnstyle is a half-sister to Group III winner Candelara and is the sixth winner for good producer Jadana, who died in 2018.

Rubick has a big draft of 20 for the upcoming Inglis Classic Yearling Sale and you can see the draft here.
